Since we have closed and people still seem to be stumbling along to our page I’m going to continue to post my thought on occasion. Stay tuned.
What have we learned in the last 10 months; the survival rate of this pandemic in the US is 99.98%, the shut down was all about control and nothing to do with contagion, the economy is in a mess but the stock markets are still going well, small businesses are surviving but it’s not easy while mega businesses are doing very well. The social media company’s along with DC are instructing a new level of control and loss of our 1st admin rights. The election was fixed though they have been for quite a few cycles. If we don’t wake up it may be to late if it isn’t already. When one relies on government for everything you can only achieve what they allow you to.
Remember all of this pandemic coverage and panic has been the cause of many businesses to shutter and move on. With a survival rate in the US of 99.98% seems to be a lot to ask of small business. Restaurants are not the life taking villains presinted by polititions and the media. Anyone with a brain could have seen this from the start. It just took some of us a bit longer and some will never get it.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the Pier Restaurant will not be reopening. We have appreciated your business throughout the years and will miss all of our loyal customers.
THE PIER RESTAURANT WILL NOT BE REOPENING. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR FOR YOUR SUPPORT, UNTIL WE CROSS PATHS AGAIN.
The Pier will be reopening but not until we feel it is safe to move forward with business as usual. So keep looking for our announcement, hope to see everyone soon.

Wednesdays lunch special will be Italian porchette sandwich on home made rustic bread lettuce and fresh lemon. For dinner we will have a pepper crusted pork porterhouse mustard gravy.

Tonight we are making our Saint Patty’s pizza corned beef cabbage potato Irish cheddar along with our other menu items. If you can’t dine I with us you can at least take it home. 217-221-9020 5 to 7 carry it out.
