Listen! Stop speaking negatively about your body- no matter what shape/size it is right now.
Your body has been through a lot this past year. It has survived a global pandemic!
Here’s what NOT to do:
🙅🏻♀️ start a fad/super restrictive diet
🙅🏻♀️punish/berate/shame yourself
🙅🏻♀️spend hours doing cardio
Instead:
• forgive yourself
• practice self compassion
• get clarity on what you want to accomplish
• develop an action plan (this doesn’t mean “change everything all at once!”)
This is what you can do if your clothes from previous years no longer fit:
• donate them
• throw them away
• get new items that make you feel good
You are worthy because you are.
Your worth isn’t determined by the size of your clothes, the number on the scale, or the opinions of others.
You are worthy of love because you are.
You are worthy of happiness because you are.
You are worthy of feeling good in your skin and in this current body because you are.
No need for conditionals.

It’s that simple.
Mental health is every day.
Mental health is all areas of your life.
Mental health is not something you can put off while you take care of other things.
Prioritize your mental health, and everything else will get easier- at least easier to approach/handle/manage.
Sometimes we don’t even realize that we have been neglecting our mental well-being until we are burnt out and struggling.
If you’re struggling, know that
- you are not alone
- you are loved and supported
- you are worthy of health and happiness
- you don’t have to do this yourself (reach out for help)
