Another happy customer! Just in time for Easter. We just delivered this Cherry Live-edge half wall countertop. Our client contacted us through Facebook Market Place. They wanted to upgrade their half-wall countertop that is a focal point between their living room and kitchen. The challenge here was that it’s being used to display their plants and their cat also like to jump up there as well. So, we had potential water issues and cat claws to contend with.
The solution was to burnish in Rubio Monocoat’s Hybrid Wood Protector outdoor finish then topped with their maintenance oil product. This product has 0% VOC and does not contain any water or solvents, no film to be scratched off, and can be touched up with no sanding. Amazing product as it will also stand up to wine, alcohol, and cleaning products.
We worked out all the details online, everything from picking out the exact slab (which needed to be flattened, debark filled all the voided with epoxy), finalizing all the dimensions and color selection. Measure twice and cut once.
