This week we officially closed on the purchase of the former Sound Christian Academy campus in Tacoma!

From day one until now, the LORD has guided and provided for every step of the ministry of Reality Sports. This milestone has been all of God’s doing.

Twenty-six years ago, in 2000, the first plans were drawn for what a facility might look like—a place to train athletes in physical excellence and, more importantly, in the truth of God’s Word. We began to pray.

That was 6 years before Reality Sports even existed (ministry launch in 2006)!

The purchase process has been quite a journey over the past six months. Last October, we toured the property for the first time and submitted an offer.
Though it has been a rollercoaster ride, God has demonstrated his faithfulness every step of the way. We are thankful to serve a sovereign God who "upholds the universe by the word of his power" (Heb. 1:3) and, at the same time, cares for his children (Matt. 7:11).

Thank you for your incredible support to get to this point. This is certainly an inflection point in the 20-year history of the ministry—one that God will use in the lives of many more coaches, athletes, and families in the years to come.

There is still much work to be done including renovations, an eventual move-in, and a capital campaign to fully pay off the property over the next three years. We look forward to sharing more as plans take shape.
