Mother’s Day always has mixed emotions for me.

I love and miss my Mom so much especially as I navigate my own motherhood journey. Seeing those old photos makes me laugh and smile since I remember the moments so well when they were taken. Also sad to see these since she was also my best friend.

If she were alive today she’d give me all of her unsolicited parenting advice, which i know I would gladly take because lord knows I need it.

I always try and channel my inner “Jackie” when I struggle. A lot of the times I probably miss the mark, but sometimes I do alright.

Mom, wishing you a Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day! Striving everyday to make you proud.

And to those suffering loss of a Mother, and having an especially hard time on this day, you aren’t alone.

Happy Heavenly birthday to Madam Queen (as my Grandfather used to say), aka Mom! 🕊️🕊️🕊️

She would have been 78 today.
She was my best friend.
She taught me the meaning love unconditionally.
She loved me , even when I acted like a brat.
She was my Rock.
My Life Coach.
She was the 1st person I told I was having a little girl.
She was one of the few people who could make me smile when I was sad.
She ate art for breakfast.
I went to a lot of museums as a kid.
She was always happy, even when Cancer weaken her so much physically.
She saw the positive in every situation.
She was a true Queen in every sense of the word.
