Exciting news for the Mount Vernon community! πŸŽ‰ The highly anticipated Library Commons opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 28th βœ‚οΈ. Among its many unique features is a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, designed to support local food businesses, host community events, and serve as a resource during emergencies. We are proud to be part of the HKP Architects team and thrilled with the kitchen's end result. πŸ™Œ

The project adheres to the Buy America Act, using materials sourced within the US. This $60M hub blends library services with economic development, sustainability, and disaster preparedness.
