Have you ever had someone take a picture of you that somehow captures the *real* you? So much so that when you see it you’re a little surprised? It’s not posed, there’s no say cheese smile. It’s just YOU.

It’s a little strange to be seen. It can feel vulnerable. And scary. And wonderful. Because what else is there? To really see others and be seen is a human craving. But, oof, is it hard.

When was the last time you felt seen? When was the last time you really saw? What might it be like to drop the veils a little today, even for just a moment?

My mom, grandmother, and I put together 30 bouquets of flowers and gorgeous cards from and distributed them to various tables today. We had a lovely day together and already hope to do it again for another occasion. 💕

Well, turns out I spent the first five days of 2021 with my contact lenses in the wrong eyes. 🙄 Here’s to seeing more clearly from here forward.

Good thing my intentions for this year don’t involve a perfect vision... I’m focused on being present authentically and aligned with my purpose.
