“Sometimes the best stories come full circle. ❤️🦙”

If you watch this video, you’ll hear me chatting with one very special girl—MSF Emerald (“Emmy”).

Last August, Emmy and her daughter, Gracie, left our farm to become companions for another female llama and her cria. While we certainly missed them, we were happy knowing they had a new purpose and a family to love them.

Life has a funny way of changing plans.

Their new owners recently added a herd of alpacas and realized they no longer had the space to properly care for Emmy and Gracie. One promise we’ve always made to our buyers is that if circumstances change, we want our animals to come back home rather than be passed from place to place. That buy-back commitment is something we take very seriously.

So… welcome home, girls. 💚

Doug was especially excited to see Emmy again. Saying goodbye to her last year was difficult, even though we had made the decision to focus our breeding program on classic, short-wool pack llamas.

Emmy may be a medium wool llama, but she’s everything we value—gentle, kind, and absolutely beautiful. Her calm temperament makes her a wonderful ambassador, and we know she’ll produce sweet babies that our youth club members will love learning to handle and show.

Sometimes a detour leads exactly where you’re meant to be.

Welcome home, Emmy and Gracie. We missed you more than you know. 🦙❤️
