When Bethany, an Aflac senior field incentive analyst, went to the doctor for headaches and vision issues, she expected a simple answer. Instead, she received a rare, high-risk cancer diagnosis that would change her life.

Since then, she's faced surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Today, she's in clinical remission and using her voice to advocate for early detection.

Her message is simple: If something doesn't feel right, get checked.

"Due to treatment, Bethany missed her 20-year tenure celebration. She asked to reschedule her tenure photo and without hesitation, Aflac Chairman and CEO Dan Amos and Aflac President Virgil Miller made it happen.

This National Cancer Survivors Month, Bethany's journey is a reminder that early action matters, every experience is different and even small gestures can make a lasting impact.
