Wishing all the veterans and their families out there a great Veterans Day!

Today marks the last day of 12 years of service to our 2 great chambers.

I just finished 6 years with the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce (including working closely with Leadership Charlotte - an amazing program).

Previously, I spent 6 years with the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce- including being President in 2016-2017. (they called it Chair back then)

Both Chambers have great leaders and will continue to do great things for our community & I am proud to have been involved in the past & support them both going forward.

As the new roundabout opens my main advice:

* Approach carefully & keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
* I would not recommend driving side by side with any large vehicle or semi (narrow lanes and/or visibility concerns)
