Wednesday morning, Pueblo Fire Department opened their second of their three new stations. Station 8 has been located on Bonforte Blvd for many years. As of Wednesday Engine 38 and Brush 68 will be now running from their new station near Jerry Murphy and Candytuft Blvd. Their previous station was shared with the admin office and was small and very outdated. The admin staff will continue to work from the Bonforte location. The new location allows for room to grow and ups safety measures and will help crews reduce the cancer risk. Station 6 is the last of the new stations to be finished and is expected to be finished in late 2025. Congratulations to the Pueblo Fire Department and City of Pueblo, Colorado - City Government!

We want to send our condolences and prayers out to the Pueblo Fire Department during this difficult time after it was announced today that Chief Novak unexpectedly passed away over the weekend. It was always an honor being able to photograph Chief Novak while he was on scene as a captain at station 7. You will be missed, RIP sir.
