🎆 Friendly reminder… July 1st means it’s time to start thinking ahead for your furry family members! 🐾

While we may love fireworks, many of our pets definitely do not. In fact, the Fourth of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets.

A few simple steps now can help keep everyone safe:

🐶 Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags are current.
📍 Double-check that your pet’s microchip information is up to date.
💊 If your pet needs anti-anxiety medication, don’t wait until the last minute to call for a refill.
🏡 Check fences and gates for any escape routes.
🛏️ If you’ll be away, leave your pet somewhere they feel safe and comfortable, with plenty of familiar bedding and toys.
📺 Turn on the TV, radio, or a white noise machine to help drown out the sounds of fireworks.
