Playing with rhyme, rhythm, and storytelling helps build reading and writing confidence at any age. At Project Read, adult learners strengthen literacy, math, and digital skills through personalized tutoring and small group instruction—one word, one sentence, and sometimes one limerick at a time.

Remember Jennifer? Our fabulous Morgan Stanley Fellow last year? The projects and assignments she completed for Project Read while serving have been invaluable! She managed our Google Ads, designed some HR training videos, published our student anthology, and so much more. Oh, how we miss her!

But, not to fret. We have again been approved to host another Morgan Stanley Fellow at Project Read this year. The fellowship is a 10-month, part-time opportunity for graduate students to work alongside community organizations providing community support.
