Mexico ~ "The Night of the Radishes" is an annual Christmas tradition in Oaxaca, Mexico. A competition is held on December 23rd to see who can carve the best nativity scene our of large radishes. Those are then shown to the whole town at the Christmas Market. There is certain land reserved just for growing the vegetables for this event.
