The City of Saratoga Springs is growing, and so is Saratoga Springs Fire & Rescue. We're hiring full-time Advanced EMTS (AEMTS) and Paramedics to join our team. Firefighter certifications are preferred but not required. Lateral applicants are encouraged to apply.

THE CITY OF BLUFFDALE JOB OPENING
Position Title: Operations Fire Chief
Department: Fire
Status: Full-time; benefits eligible
Salary: $94,279 - $137,653 +/- based on experience.
Closing Date: Open until filled with qualified candidate.

Job Summary: This position provides highly responsible and complex assistance to the Fire Chief. This role promotes public safety by ensuring department readiness and preparedness through the management of facilities, fleet and logistics. Performs administrative, operational, and supervisory duties coordinating and overseeing all fire and medical related activities in the city. May be assigned administrative duties including purchasing, budget, training, equipment, etc.

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires an associate’s degree in Fire
Science, Management, or a related field; and twelve (12) years of progressive firefighting experience with increasing responsibilities, including at least two years of Battalion Chief experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
