CALL TO ACTION! Take a moment to send a note to your elected officials that our military members should keep getting paid despite a government shutdown! A government shutdown should never force our service members or their families to go without pay. Support the passage of H.R.5401 - Pay Our Troops Act of 2026 and advocate for introduction and passage of a Senate companion bill.
The Pay Our Troops Act provides the necessary funds to support our nation’s Armed Forces and Department of Defense civilian employees until regular appropriations are passed into law, or through January 1, 2027.

Everyone, please help me welcome Alamoni (Moni) as one of the most recent additions to the Utah Army National Guard. She joined a 42A Human Resources Specialist. Once she comes back from Basic Combat Training she will continue her education at BYU where she’ll eventually become a contracted cadet in BYU’s ROTC under the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP). SMP is a program where ROTC cadets are simultaneously actively trained members of the National Guard getter mentorship by units to become an officer.
