Students in Grade 8 had the incredible opportunity to hear from Providence mayoral candidate David Morales (David Morales) during an engaging Q&A session last week!

Students asked thoughtful and insightful questions on topics that matter to them and our community, sparking meaningful conversation and connection.

David also shared his personal journey, including becoming the youngest Latino ever elected to a state legislature, offering an inspiring example of leadership and representation.

HUGE thank you to Mr. Morales for taking the time to speak with our students and inspire the next generation of leaders! 💫

Beloved Community Night finally made its way back to us after a season of snow delays!

The evening began with our 6th graders’ powerful recital of Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have a Dream, bringing the entire school together to close with its final verses. From there, the stage came alive with performances across every grade!

Students performed to songs like Can’t Stop the Feeling, Dynamite, and Can’t Stop Us Now, while Grades 4–6 sang in English, Spanish, Swahili, and Sign Language. We were excited to have Chris Love share the Eastern War Dance of the Narragansett tribe, and to see Mr. Figz and special guests showcase the art of breaking. The CP Dance Club also brought incredible energy with their own take on the !

This is what Beloved Community looks like! ❤️✨
