Canvassing has been such a huge part in getting the word out to my community and something I truly enjoy doing!

Loan forgiveness is good but not looking into the root of student loan debt is a problem. The fact that people can come out with thousands in loans debt, then start a job with wages that are below the cost of living seems like a set up for failure. The fact that we expect students to pay loans back as well as save for a home and build a life is DEFINITELY problem. I believe student loans should have a cap once in default. When there seems to be no end to paying student loans it lowers morale and doesn't motivate people to keep paying when their other needs are a priority. Student loan forgiveness programs were not successful. There are other ways to fix this problem.
