Welp we broke records with the ! A blustery snow day of my son exploring coin collecting every window windows iced over and our street currently has 5ft snow drifts so not going far anytime soon. Made tunnels from the doors and my arms are noodles from all the shoveling. Fireplace roaring and chickpea curry and monster movies inside. Stay safe and warm folks - feel like we will emerge from@this looking like all those busted hibernating bears crawling from caves come spring.

Well, holy smokes. What a FANTASTIC story. I know I’ve read at least one short by this author before but I’ll be making a conscious effort to look her up now. A woman works as a very particular kind of cleaner that takes care of spaces that have been…let’s say “used” by a particular type of night time…person. Being vague to avoid spoilers, but what a fantastic story. I particularly loved how much world-building was done in such a short space here.
