LitArts RI’s Spring Showcase is always a favorite event, for many reasons: Not only do we get to hear work by talented local writers honed in our craft writing workshops, we also get to witness the community that developed out of these workshops in the receptive audience members who showed up in support. Congrats to Lance Richardson, longtime LitArts RI Member and author of True Nature, recently named a finalist for the 2026 Pulitzer Prize! Lance’s biography of Peter Matthiessen, part of which he wrote at our creative workspace, is now on display in our local author library. Stop through to take a look. Cheers!
