🎤 June Open Stage: His Healing Out Loud 🖤

Some artists don’t just step on the stage — they become part of the story. This month we’re welcoming back Tae Khai, an Open Stage alumn who’s been rocking with the community for years and helping create the energy that makes these nights what they are.

As we center Men’s Mental Health through expression, conversation, music, and vulnerability, Tae Khai returns to bring his artistry, presence, and familiar vibe back to the room. There’s always something special about seeing family come back home to the stage.

Headliner: Jabubu 🔥
Hosted by Intuitive LogiQ 🎤

Pull up for a night of healing, honesty, and art spoken out loud.

JUNE OPEN STAGE PRESENTS: His Healing Out Loud 💙🌱

This month, we’re creating space for stories that often go unspoken. Centered around Men’s Mental Health, His Healing Out Loud is a night dedicated to vulnerability, strength, expression, and the power of being seen and heard.

Healing doesn’t always happen in silence. Sometimes it sounds like poetry. Sometimes it sounds like music. Sometimes it sounds like truth spoken into a microphone.

We’re honored to feature our headliner Jabubu — rapper, singer, lyricist, and artist dedicated to his craft. Through powerful storytelling and authentic expression, Jabubu brings music that speaks beyond the surface and connects where words alone often can’t.

Come experience a night of art, conversation, creativity, and community as we make space for healing out loud.

We’re honored to welcome spoken word poet Monica D. Vance to kick off our May 1st Open Stage ✨

A poet, writer, therapist, and speaker, Monica brings a powerful blend of vulnerability and insight to the mic. Her work lives at the intersection of mental health, healing, and storytelling — pulling from her experience as a trauma and attachment-focused therapist to create poetry that resonates deeply.

From stages like GBH’s Outspoken Saturdays to Afroverse PVD’s Hide-N-Speak and beyond, her voice has been making waves across Rhode Island and New England 🌊

Get ready for a performance that’s grounding, moving, and unforgettable.
