Flooded roads are dangerous especially for drivers. Remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Just 2 feet of moving water can carry away most vehicles, and if your car becomes trapped in floodwaters, get out immediately and move to higher ground.

Never drive through flooded roads because your safety is worth more than the shortcut.

2. Don’t rely on cell service alone - download offline maps before you head out.
3. Be mindful of your gas tank - don’t wait until it is nearly empty to refuel; some routes have limited gas stations.
