The Original Owner, Gus Pappas, stopped by Baba’s to enjoy one last meal before we close our doors. It was such an honor to sit and talk with him — to hear his stories about the early days, the memories, and the pride he had in what he built all those years ago. Listening to him talk about how far this little spot has come truly reminded us why Baba’s has always been so special.

He ordered the classic hot wieners, and the smile on his face said it al.. he loved them and even order two to-go! 🌭 Seeing him enjoy that meal, right here where it all began, filled our hearts with so much joy and nostalgia.

Thank you, Gus Pappas, for paving the way and for stopping by to share this full-circle moment with us. Your visit meant more than words can express. ❤️

💔 It’s down to our last 2 days… Tomorrow, we open our doors for the very last time at Baba’s Original New York System. It’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to us…generations of memories, laughter, hard work, and the love we’ve shared with our community.

From the regulars who’ve been with us since day one, to every new face who stopped in for their first hot wiener you’ve all become part of our story. 🌭❤️
