Boston University’s business school founded in 1913 is named the Questrom School of Business after a generous donation of $50 million by Allen Irving Questrom, prior CEO of Federated Department Stores, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, and J. C. Penney. Allen Questrom graduated from BU in 1964. Additionally, the building of the Questrom School of Business is called the Hariri building, which is named after Rafik B. Hariri, a Lebanese business tycoon and prior Prime Minister of Lebanon. The Questrom School of Business is located on 595 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

Questrom is centered behind truth, service, the golden rule, and service. Headed by Dean Susan Fournier, who envisions Questrom encapsulating “research that matters, programs that inspire, and faculty, staff, and students who care.”

As an undergraduate student there are several concentrations to choose from: Accounting, Finance, General Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Law, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Operations & Technology Management, Organizational Behavior, and Strategy. Finance is the most popular concentration with around 50% of Questrom graduates leaving the school with it.

The Questrom Honors Program, minors, independent studies, study abroad opportunities, and dual degree possibilities are additional possibilities as a BU business student. Comment below if you have questions!
