Originally from Northern California, Rebecca has lived across the U.S. and Canada before planting roots in Texas in 2005 — and she’s loved calling it home ever since. She’s a proud wife of 30 years and a mom of five who enjoys cooking, hosting friends and family, and staying active with water sports, pickleball, and games.

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Kathy Corey. She brings unmatched experience, heart, and dedication to every client she serves. Kathy has spent 14 years as a realtor, following 12 years on the builder side, giving her a truly well‑rounded perspective on the industry. She joined Monument 9 months ago, and we’re grateful to have her energy and expertise in our Prosper office.

Kathy proudly calls herself “Southern Cali born, Texas bred.” Born in Cali, raised in Plano, she now lives in Celina, and her love for Texas runs deep. From rural backroads to busy city streets, she never stops appreciating the beauty and vastness of this state. But what she values most are the people—clients who become friends and leave a lasting impression long after closing.

🐾 Fun Fact: Real Estate Brought Her Dogs
Kathy is a proud dog mom with a heart for rescue. She met Spencer and Toby at her model homes in Prosper and Dallas and later rescued seven puppies from one of her listings—keeping two (Jac & Poppy) and helping a local rescue place the rest in loving homes.

Since joining Monument, Kathy has embraced the modern world of real estate—technology, AI, and especially social media. As a proud Gen‑X Realtor, she’s learning to share more of the “Kathy Corey” brand with the world, and we love watching her shine.

STAR OF THE MONTH - KRISTA HENDRIX ✨
We’re excited to celebrate Krista, who has been in real estate for 4½ years and with Monument since October 2024. She balances a loving family life with her husband and two young kids and found her passion for real estate after becoming a mom.

A Carrollton native and Oklahoma State marketing graduate, she returned to DFW in 2016. She and her husband bought their first home in Frisco and built their current home in Prosper in 2022. She loves Dallas for its blend of southern hospitality and big-city energy. When she’s not serving clients, you’ll find her enjoying time on a patio, watching reality TV, playing board games, or hanging out with her family.

Her favorite part of real estate? Being part of one of the most meaningful decisions in someone’s life. Helping clients find a place where memories will be made is something she considers an honor every single day. 💙
