Arkansas public school students will soon be required to take gun safety courses The Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be working together to provide age-appropriate fi****ms safety instruction to students.

This past weekend I managed to sneak away and shoot a sanctioned match outside of Lufkin, TX. The 2024 Pineywoods Shootout was a fun, fast match in a beautiful location. While it was not a stellar match for me, I accomplished my match goal of shooting deliberately and accurately in my first real Carry Optics match in years. I managed 10 points down for the match and 15/85 for the division. I did accomplish one of my season goals, as this match performance earned me a match bump, and I am now a Master class shooter in 5 divisions.
