Week 3: Government 🏛️
The Program continues in full swing with a great panel of speakers for our week on government! Our fellows were joined by JD Bryan, the Deputy District Director for Congressman Tom Kean! The fellows were able to talk to JD about the importance of constituent services, the role of the federal government, and ways to pursue a career in public service. Week 2: Campaigns 📍
The Summer Fellows got to hear from Om Savargaonkar, the Coordinated Campaign Director for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee! Om joined our fellows to talk about his journey getting involved in campaigns as a South Asian youth, his insights on the upcoming gubernatorial election and candidate Mikie Sherrill, and ways for young people to get involved.
