How to Clean Glass Windows, Streak Free

Most homes have a number of glass windows. They aren’t the hardest area to clean, but it can be difficult to get them streak free.

If your windows are extremely dirty use hot, soapy water and wash downward; you want to make sure to clean the debris off first (try to clean inside the tracks as well).

Next you want to rinse the glass thoroughly then use a clean microfiber cloth to dry and shine it. You should dry off the windows quickly to prevent streaks.

Using chemical glass cleaner when washing your windows works but is not always necessary, we recommend using cleaning grade vinegar. It’s cheap, can be purchased at your local stores and doesn’t leave residue.

When cleaning windows, the goal is to work at a fast pace to prevent streaks and keeping supplies in hand can help with that.
