💰 Still paying for Salesforce AND Dynamics 365? One of them is costing you money it should not.
This is one of the most common conversations we have with mid-market companies. They implemented Dynamics 365 for finance and operations, but the sales team never left Salesforce. Now they are paying for both and syncing data between them manually.
Keep Salesforce if your sales process is genuinely complex, your pipeline reporting lives in Salesforce, and your integrations are deeply embedded.

🔄 Switch to Dynamics 365 CRM if your team already works in Microsoft tools — Teams, Outlook, Office 365 — and you want your CRM and ERP in the same environment without a middleware layer.
Run both only if your sales and operations teams have fundamentally different workflow requirements and you have a clean, maintained integration between the two.

💼 Your CFO is going to ask you one question about this ERP project.

It is not "How much does it cost?" It is "When does it pay for itself?" 📈

Here is the framework I use to answer that in under two minutes:

✅ Step 1: Calculate hours saved per month across finance, ops, and reporting.
✅ Step 2: Multiply by your team's blended hourly rate.
✅ Step 3: Add value from error reduction and faster close cycles.
✅ Step 4: Divide your total system cost by that monthly figure.

🎯 That is your payback period. That is the number that gets a CFO to say yes.

📩 DM me "PAYBACK" and I will send you the one-page CFO brief template I use for every project.

📊 QuickBooks is an excellent product for the business it was designed for.

🚨 The problem is not QuickBooks. The problem is staying on it past the point where it fits.

Sign 1: Month-end close takes two weeks. You are exporting to spreadsheets to do reconciliation because QuickBooks cannot handle the volume or the complexity.
Sign 2: You have multiple entities — subsidiaries, divisions, or holding companies — and each one lives in a separate QuickBooks file. Consolidation is a manual exercise every single month.
Sign 3: Your inventory system is separate from your accounting system. Your warehouse team and your finance team are never looking at the same number at the same time.
Sign 4: Leadership asks for a consolidated P&L and it takes three days to build.
Sign 5: Audit preparation takes weeks because documentation is scattered across people, folders, and emails.

If three or more of these sound familiar, it is time for the conversation.
