Cheney Reservoir is currently about 9.25 inches above the lowest point observed in 2024, which occurred in late October ahead of record-breaking rain in November. Frank Waugh, CBM KAKE tells us that since the beginning of the year, the level has steadily dropped.

It was brought to our attention that, Kevin, the owner of O'Brien's Marina was in a bad accident a couple weeks ago while cleaning debris out of the water around the marina boat slips. He's undergone several surgeries already and still has a long road ahead with more scheduled this month.
