Ladies, don't think I don't have any appreciation for you just because most of my posts have been geared towards men.

In the 23+ years I've been working as a trainer most of my clients have been women.

I love working with women in the gym. In my experience they've always shown up ready to work hard and welcome the challenges.

I enjoy seeing them flip the switch to becoming a full on savage for 45 minutes straight.

I love it when after a few months they're doing reps with weights they never thought they would even touch.

I have a few openings for small group training as well as one on one training.

If you're ready to be that Mama Bear send me a DM and I will fill you in on all of the details.

New client specials through the end of this month, so reach out now to get started!

I know I haven't put much out lately, so I come back bearing a gift. I'm putting together a FREE 13 week beginners training template that goes over what I would do with a new client who hasn't worked out in a while.

I am going to dispell a few commonly believed myths about how to transform your physique and lay out the highest return on your time and sweat investment workout plans to fit your lifestyle.

I'm going to cover nutrition, cardio, strength training and how to design the most effective routine for you specifically.

A lot of the information you are going to have to sort out yourself, but it will all be based on what I know from 30 years of experience to deliver the best results.

The template itself is 100% FREE with no strings attached.

However, if you do want accountability and help figuring out what is going to work the best for you I got you covered there too.

Starting June 1st I am launching my coaching website where the first 50 people have an opportunity to become founding members for only $10 a month and on top of that receive early notifications and specialty pricing/bonuses for life on all future events.

If you're not into commitments I understand that and am also offering Zoom calls for $20 for 30 minutes to go over whatever you need clarification with.

Either way I want to see all of my friends looking and feeling their best and not wasting time on things that don't work for them.

I love you,
Rick

Happy New Year 2023!

The first of the year has a special meaning of renewal for most people. Motivation and the desire to make changes are at their peak right now.

We all know that motivation doesn't last, and it's discipline and habits that carry you through, but if motivation is all that we have to work with right now I'll take it.

The gyms are about to be packed with new people swearing that this is the year that they finally get in shape. It will be this way for a few weeks until they get frustrated and give up, claiming that they tried everything.

The reason for their frustration is they made a few mistakes in their planning and took off 100 miles per hour in the wrong direction. They are highly motivated after all.

The mistakes are usually based around 3 things, and I'm about to show you how to avoid them so this doesn't happen to you.

Mistake Number One is that most people begin with too drastic of a diet and become miserable and don't think it's worth it, especially for the lack of results they are seeing. Most people would rather stay fat than be miserable, and I can't really blame them. Being fit and healthy is supposed to enhance your quality of life, not take away from it. Successful weight loss nutrition plans follow a few simple rules. You have to maintain a calorie deficit, and you must get adequate protein. There is no bad food list that if you eat from it will destroy all of your progress. You can keep your favorite foods on your plate, but it's up to you to control the amount. Calories are still the deciding factor.

Mistake Number Two is focusing too heavily on cardio when it comes to working out. To see real changes in your body focus your energy into building muscle and getting stronger. A good strength training routine will do much more to build a lean and muscular physique than doing excessive cardio will. Be sure that you are pushing, pulling, squatting/lunging, rotating, and doing loaded carries Ideally twice a week. You don't have to try to fit all of these exercises into every workout, just be sure that at the end of the week you covered all of your bases. This will be determined by your availability and how well you recover from training. Still do your cardio, but prioritize building muscle and getting stronger and you will get better results.

Mistake Number Three is not having a solid plan that they adhere to and having zero accountability. Without a plan and accountability it's way too easy to self sabotage. How many times do you find yourself second guessing your decisions? How easy is it to skip a day and tell yourself you'll make it up later? With no plan and no one to ask questions to when you feel stagnant or begin to doubt yourself it's no surprise that most people give up and feel like there's something wrong with them.

I've been through this all myself, and have helped dozens of people not only reach their fitness goals but go on to do things they never thought possible when they were first getting started.

Let me help you build a training program based around where you are, where you want to go, and what tools we have available.

The basic principles are universal and apply to 99% of the population, but how you apply them is specific to your body, lifestyle, goals, etc.

Don't follow some cookie cutter routine that doesn't fit your lifestyle and isn't sustainable. Consistency is the key to long-term success.

Let me design a plan for you that you can actually stick to and progress with, and allow me to monitor your progress and check in with you on a weekly basis to go over what you should expect to experience and make adjustments as needed.

I have room for 10 people who want a custom training program, custom nutrition plan, weekly accountability check ins, email access, and to become part of an on-line community of people with similar goals and challenges.

The first 10 people to begin will also be FOUNDING MEMBERS of my online training community and will have special pricing for life on this training program as well as all upcoming events.

Make this year the last year that you put "getting in shape" on your New Years Resolutions list!

To get started simply comment below 2023 and I will reach out to you with the details.

I look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals this year!
