TEMPORARY CLOSURES

Upcoming restoration work at Watson Woods Riparian Preserve will result in temporary trail and trailhead closures this weekend - February 22nd and 23rd.

- Saturday 2/22 - CLOSED: South Loop Trail. (Rosser St. Trailhead to remain open)
- Sunday 2/23 - CLOSED: Rosser St. Trailhead.

These temporary closures are to protect the public while Prescott Creeks volunteers conduct chainsaw and overhead work in the Preserve. Volunteers will be removing Siberian elms (an invasive, non-native species) from the area. Removal of these trees is a key component of ongoing ecological restoration efforts within the Riparian Preserve. It is also consistent with the Improvement Plan for the Upper Granite Creek Watershed (2012). For more information, see PrescottCreeks.org.
