This notion is at the core of AmeriCorps VISTA's mission to eliminate and alleviate poverty by building the sustainable capacity of low-income communities and the nonprofit organizations that serve them.

Stronger communities are built when everyone has the chance to succeed.

Welcome back to Mobilize Monday — our series focused on sharing inspiring quotes to encourage past, current, and future AmeriCorps members to keep creating positive change in their communities.

At Arizona Serve, this quote is a reminder that meaningful change begins with action. Good intentions matter, but communities are strengthened when people choose to take the first step toward making a difference. Every act of service, no matter how small, has the power to inspire others and create a ripple effect throughout a community.

If you see a need, don't wait. Be the person who takes action.
