Ancient stories enrich our modern world. Exploring and examining the successes of our forebears when done respectfully helps to root our individual lives to other ancient individuals who paved the way for today.

I was excited to see some Mayan sculpture at Caracol! However, it turned out to be a modern plaster overlay replica. Almost all of the ancient carvings and sculpture were spirited away to museums and collections. Still, these were Beliezable.
