A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of south-central and southwest Kansas, including Pratt, Kiowa, Kingman, Barber, Harper, Sumner, Edwards, Ford, Clark, Comanche, and surrounding counties.

Conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing:
🌪️ Tornadoes
🌬️ Damaging winds
🧊 Large hail
🌧️ Heavy rainfall and localized flooding

Please stay weather aware this evening. Have multiple ways to receive warnings, review your safety plan, and be prepared to take shelter if a Tornado Warning is issued for your area.

With saturated ground from recent rainfall, flash flooding is also possible. Never drive through flooded roadways.
