Customer dropped them off, we stripped, my husband and I both spent several hours sanding, I stained and we sent the pair back home just in time for her daughter who gifted them to her several years ago to see them refinished!

I found this sweet piece at a garage sale this morning and couldn’t leave without it. This was a sewing table in another life. But with many years of use (and newer sewing machines) the hinges were left broken and missing and it no longer served the same purpose. I removed the middle base after I’d made a much more complicated plan to remove, cut, and fill with a new piece and my dad told me I was doing too much! (Thank goodness he did!!)

Another custom piece that came and went this week! And to say trusting the process was the motto here is a definite understatement. There were a few moments of panic, and a frantic search for more paint. But another happy flip finished and delivered for a little girl who is living the Barbie dream of us all!
