When I first had the idea for the Powhatan Farm Stand Trail, I thought maybe a few people would think it sounded fun… but I truly never imagined the response it would receive from this community 🤍

Watching everyone share the announcement, tag friends and family, and get excited about spending a summer Saturday supporting local stands has been such a special thing to witness already!

There’s something really sweet about the idea of slow back roads, roadside stands, fresh bread, flowers, produce, handmade goods, and families making a day out of exploring Powhatan together.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll start sharing little sneak peeks, stand spotlights, and behind-the-scenes pieces as everything comes together… and I genuinely cannot wait for y’all to experience it.

Let’s spoil our teachers the sweet way 🍪🧁🍞

There have been some really sweet shifts happening behind the scenes lately… and I wanted to share one with you 🤍

If you’ve been visiting me at Quarterfield Markets, you might remember that my sourdough goodies used to rotate weeks on the shelves. It was such a special season of sharing that space, and I’m really grateful for it.

As the market heads into a new season, I’ll be there each week starting May 1st—so you’ll be able to find my sourdough on the shelves everyday the market is open 🤍

This change came naturally as things have been evolving, and I’m truly honored (and a little in awe) to step into this rhythm each week.

With that being said—The Bread Shed isn’t going anywhere 🤍
The doors will still be open, the shelves will still be stocked, and that cozy little rhythm we’ve built together will still be there.

The only shift you may notice is a move toward a more monthly-style menu at the shed, with special treats and extras popping up when I’m able to squeeze them in between baking for both spaces.

This season feels like growth in the most stretching, humbling, and exciting kind of way… and I’m just so thankful you’re here for it.

Whether you find me at the market, at the shed, or both—thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. It truly means more than I could ever put into words 🫶
