~AVAILABLE~ I am falling in love with turning old quality furniture into designer statement pieces! My latest project is this gorgeous, solid wood Beck Furniture Jacobean sideboard, from the early 1900’s, that has been given a stunning facelift with intentional design towards a moody modern vintage vibe. This piece was refinished in a black washed, moody black, highlighting the carved details and architectural lines. The top of the table has brand new walnut veneer. The entire piece has been top coated with a series of top coats and finished with one final layer of matte for the perfect moody European look and ultimate protection.

The original hardware remains on the piece. Interior woods have been cleaned, stained and waxed for protection. I took the time to find the most perfect designer liner tor this piece and lined the drawers and interior cabinet doors to add more designer character to this stunning piece!

I purposely kept the small dings and imperfections to preserved and showcase the story and history of the piece. These details add character, depth, and authenticity — the kind you only get with true vintage.

To conclude…if you are looking for the perfect moody modern vintage piece to anchor your room, this statement piece is it!!! Works beautifully as a buffet, credenza, entryway focal point, or dramatic media console. It’s meant to be noticed!!

~ SOLD~ This solid wood hutch finally went through its timeless transformation! I had this beauty sitting in my inventory for about 2 years before I finally decided to make a move! My original plan was to separate it into two sections and finish separately but that wasn’t possible so I had to shift gears. It took me weeks to decide on dark or light and finally decided to go with my gut with Sherwin Williams “Caviar”…it just fits the whole vibe! I replaced the cheap backing with a sheet of real oak which paired perfectly with the deep, moody “caviar” paint!

Once old and drab…destined for the landfill…has now been made into a stunning statement piece that anchors a room and tells a story for years to come.

~AVAILABLE NOW~ A few months ago I was given three solid oak tables for free, and decided to take them on one by one to see what I could do to bring them back to life. This first one had a very dated, orange-toned top with plenty of wear… but just look at her now!

I refinished the top into a warm, neutral wood tone and paired it with a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams “Taupe of the Morning” enamel on the base. The transformation is unreal — she looks brand new and is officially ready for her new home!
