We can’t thank Kaitlyn Ross enough for sharing JerryLee’s story and helping shine a light on K9 officers everywhere who dedicate their lives to protecting others and performing selfless acts every single day.

Thank you, 11Alive, for giving these four-legged heroes the spotlight they deserve. We had an amazing time although we’re pretty sure the K9s are expecting their own TV contracts now. 🐾🎬❤️

What started with K9 JerryLee’s injury in the line of duty has turned into something much bigger than any of us could have imagined.

The Jerry Lee Strong Foundation, established in 2024, was created to honor JerryLee’s sacrifice by helping new K-9 handlers obtain the essential equipment they need to safely and effectively serve their communities. Because when our K-9 teams have the right tools, everyone is safer.

A huge THANK YOU to 11Alive for sharing JerryLee’s story and giving him a platform to continue making a difference. Even after everything he’s been through, JerryLee is still serving others just in a different way.

Heroes don’t always wear a badge, sometimes they walk on four paws. 🐾❤️
