I had the pleasure of working with last weekend, a charity that serves children of parents battling advanced cancer, and got to photograph this lovely family after their trip to Six Flags. Fanice brought her girls and her mother and sister and we had the best afternoon at Cochran Shoals cuddling, laughing, and playing around. Their love for each other really shines through in every photo 🤎

With this week’s theme being joy, this family instantly jumped to mind. There is nothing better than getting to capture a friend’s family! Mi Yun was one of my first friends when Leo started school, and her son was one of Leo’s first friends. So when she asked if I would be her photographer this year, I was truly honored to capture the joy that radiates from them, because they really are a special, silly, loving fam 🤎
