It seems everyone wants to be more productive and more efficient … I’m happy to slow down, savor, and enjoy moments like our garden party launch for Soon Wiley. We had Daisy Florin moderate and Rachel from Connecticut Oyster Shucking & Raw Bar Catering shuck on demand. Amazing books (yes signed copies at the shop!) and the BEST oysters I’ve ever had - my Dad was a clam digger on LI in his youth (I’ve had my share!). I’m in for a Slow Down Summer πŸ“– β˜€οΈ

Beautiful Sunday to find some treasures and amble about! We’re packed with new, used, & antiquarian books (records too!) πŸ“• I’ve been working on conservation and repurposing. This 1937 Cezanne from Phaidon (printed in Austria) was damaged beyond repair so I am taking the individual prints out for your pleasure (framing, collage, still life practice). It feels good to give old books a new life and purpose. πŸ“–πŸ“•πŸ’•
