One of the biggest myths about strength training is that it's only about building muscle
Building muscle is important.
But muscle gives you something much more.
It gives you options.
It helps you climb stairs more easily.
It helps you get up from a chair.
It helps you recover your balance if you trip.
It helps you carry luggage, garden, play with your grandchildren, and enjoy long days on vacation.
The goal isn't just stronger muscles.
The goal is a body that supports the active life you want to live.
That's what strength training is really about.
