Community Animal Care

Community Animal Care will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 23, 2026, due to the impending storm and Dutchess County, New York State of emergency. Our phones will be monitored throughout the day by our nursing staff and will return any urgent calls as quickly as possible.

If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please visit a local emergency clinic right away.

We anticipate being open normal hours on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 8 AM

Thanksgiving Holiday Closure Notice

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Community Animal Care will be closing early at 4 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Additionally, we will be closed all day on Thursday, November 27, 2025, including our urgent care services.

If you experience a pet medical emergency during this time, please utilize Vettriage by visiting our website and clicking the Vettriage link at the top of the page or directly using this link: Vettriage. Alternatively, you may visit one of the local 24-hour emergency clinics.

Due to staffing constraints, our urgent care services will not be available between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. If your pet experiences a pet medical emergency during that time that can not wait until we reopen on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 8 AM, please visit one of the local emergency clinics.

The doctors and staff at Community Animal Care
