If you have a 2 month-old and are wondering when it might start getting easier, let me just say….you’re getting closer, mama!
🧐Typically by about 6 weeks it becomes easier to settle into a routine, and by 2 months you may be getting solid 6-8 hour night stretches. Woohoo!
If this is not you, and you’re wondering what you’re doing wrong…please know that chances are, you’re not doing anything wrong at all. Some babies are just EASY and some are more challenging.
🫣Barring colic, reflux, and allergies that you may be sorting out, below are some ways to help support your baby’s sleep⬇️
1️⃣FOLLOW .solutions for baby sleep tips!
2️⃣Follow age appropriate wake windows! I know your baby may SEEM fine being awake for 2-3 hours until bedtime, but I promise you that is too long for them to be awake. Often over-tiredness can make it harder to get a baby down (or for them to STAY asleep) so if you’re struggling at bedtime or during naps, know that you may need to adjust your awake time.
3️⃣If you haven’t begun a super consistent bedtime routine yet, it’s time! Comment “bedtime” below and I’ll send you a step by step bedtime routine just for this age!
