Congratulations to Doug and Ellie! đź’Ť

Saturday’s second ceremony brought me to the beautiful Vixen Hill Farm in Chester Springs, where the woods, the music, and all the thoughtful details came together for such a meaningful celebration.

From the quiet beauty of the setting to the sound of live strings filling the space, everything about the day felt warm, personal, and full of love. Doug and Ellie’s ceremony was a beautiful reflection of who they are together — grounded, joyful, and deeply connected.

Wishing them a lifetime of laughter, tenderness, adventure, and all the little moments that make marriage so special.

Thank you for allowing Ever After Vows to be part of your day. 🤍

Congratulations to Kaylee and Brandon! đź’Ť

Saturday began with a beautiful intimate ceremony in Reading, and it was such an honor to help these two make it official. Their smiles say everything — a sweet moment, a joyful “I do,” and the beginning of a brand-new chapter together.

Wishing Kaylee and Brandon a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and all the little everyday moments that make marriage so special.

Thank you for allowing Ever After Vows to be part of your day. 🤍

A wedding ceremony does not have to be long to be meaningful.

Yesterday morning was a great reminder of that.

Shawn and Jessica’s ceremony was simple, personal, and true to them — and they even had a race to run afterward, which made the whole morning feel even more like their day.

Behind the scenes, that is always the goal when I write or officiate a ceremony:

Not to make it bigger than it needs to be.
Not to force it into a cookie-cutter script.
Not to make the moment feel overly formal if that is not the couple.

The goal is to create a ceremony that fits the people standing there.

Sometimes that means heartfelt and traditional.
Sometimes it means short, sweet, and simple.
Sometimes it means a few personal details that make everyone smile.

However it looks, the ceremony should still feel like it belongs to the couple.

That is what Ever After Vows is all about.

Congratulations to Shawn and Jessica!

Today’s ceremony was simple, personal, and absolutely perfect by the water. No big crowd, no extra fuss — just two people making a real commitment to each other in a beautiful place.

It was an honor to officiate such a sweet moment and be part of the beginning of their married life together.

Shawn and Jessica, congratulations.

ENTREPRENEUR (noun): someone who builds something from nothing… and keeps showing up when it’s hard.

That’s exactly what it takes to serve couples well—planning, personalization, and being steady when the pressure’s on.

We’ve got something cool to share Tuesday morning. 🇺🇸👀

Wedding Wisdom Wednesday 📝💍

The unplugged moment is one of the easiest upgrades you can make.
Ask guests to put phones away for the ceremony so you get:
real reactions (not screens)
better photos from your pro
a more present, emotional vibe
Pro tip: have your officiant say it right before the processional so everyone hears it.

This could be you in a few months. đź’Ť

On Wednesday we talked about how long your ceremony should be. Today, let’s talk about what kind of ceremony fits you best:

💌 License signing only – Short, simple, and legal.
🌿 Elopement or micro-wedding – 10–15 minutes with a bit of personal story and vows.
🎉 Full custom ceremony – 20–25 minutes, story-driven, and designed to feel like you while keeping guests engaged.

Whether you’re planning a tiny gathering or a full celebration in Greater Philadelphia or South Jersey, we’ll help you choose (and design) a ceremony that actually feels like your relationship—not just “the thing before the party.”
