We’re proud to share that Sly Fox Brewing Company is once again the Official Beer Sponsor of the 2026 Blobfest!

Blobfest is an incredible celebration organized by our longtime friends at Phoenixville’s The Colonial Theatre that celebrates the famous 1958 film, The Blob, which was filmed in Phoenixville and takes place in Chester County. The weekend-long party with tons of film screenings, activities, a street fair, a 5K, costume contest, as well as the annual re-enactment of the “run-out” of the theatre that takes place in the film, runs from Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th.

But we can’t wait that long to start the party, so we’re releasing Blobfest IPA at our southeastern PA pubs this Friday, June 19th. Much like its cinematic namesake, this indescribable hazy IPA cannot be stopped. Devouring all hops in its swath through the brewery, with pungent fruity hop aromas now oozing forth from the glass.
