I feel like I’ve been so disconnected from this page for months. I looked at my last post and it was in MARCH 🤦🏼‍♀️
Here’s where I am in life…
After being laid off from my position in the staffing industry in October 2024, then having a horrendously painful surgery in December, I started my new job in a new field at the end of March. I am happy to announce I am the SVP and RGO for a prominent office furniture solutions company called Kershner Office Furniture in the Philadelphia area. We support small and large businesses throughout the country, so if anyone needs assistance with office furniture (from concept and design to ordering, installation, and maintenance, send me a message).
In April, I took my goofball husband on a surprise bucket list vacation to see all of Arizona. As a man who loves rocks, geology, history, and more, he had a book since childhood that had Horseshoe Bend on the cover. He dreamt of seeing it in person. I made that happen!
While on the trip, we built a business plan, came home, he left his job as COO for a masonry company in the Philadelphia area, and I opened Tuscarora Custom, LLC. He was my first hire, and our oldest son and daughter quickly followed behind. We are woman-owned, family fueled. We are certified, insured, registered, and qualified to tackle the coolest custom projects! In May, (as if we’re not busy enough), the hubs and I accepted the role of Weekend Houseparents for Milton Hershey School! We arrive on Friday evenings and provide all things love, care, parenting, and family to 7 elementary aged girls until Sunday night. We are off for the summer and start back up in August.
No. I don’t sleep. I barely find time to breathe! I am always open to talking to new clients, though, about achieving their goals, whether through social media networking or offering consulting services and mentorship.
