Human Relations Month reminds us that building a just Pennsylvania requires respect, understanding, and inclusion. Together, we can widen the circle of belonging and ensure everyone has the opportunity to live free from discrimination.

At PHRC, we work every day to protect civil rights and strengthen understanding across communities throughout the Commonwealth.

Today we welcomed the first group to the VIBE creative Social Innovation Hub.

Today’s Community Leaders Breakfast was a powerful reminder of what happens when purpose, people, and place come together.

This morning’s workshop focused on three core pillars that are shaping the future of our community:

💛 Wellness Justice– creating spaces where leaders and residents can truly be supported, healed, and sustained
💼 Economic Justice– building real pathways for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and families to thrive
🌱 Generational Impact– making intentional decisions today that strengthen opportunity for the next generation

We also spent time reflecting on the power of place— how The VIBE was created not just as a building, but as a space for connection, creativity, leadership, and community healing.

And as we closed, we shared a simple but powerful hope for our community:

Thank you to Dr. Jackson for closing the session with a call to action “May Pottstown bloom like the protea flower strong, resilient, and beautiful, even after seasons of hardship.”

Thank you to every leader who showed up with honesty, ideas, and a commitment to doing this work together.

This is how change is built in rooms like this, with conversations like these.

Thank you to 259 Eatz for providing food this morning.

✨ We are honored and excited to host The Hill School for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at Be ReZilient!

This meaningful project will support the FORCE Network. as we come together to *encourage, uplift, and empower* our local small businesses and entrepreneurs. Our youth volunteers will be helping assemble care and resource kits — but even more importantly, they’ll be writing personal notes of encouragement to remind business owners that they are seen, valued, and not alone on their journey.

At Be ReZilient, we believe in doing more than providing resources — we believe in building relationships, restoring hope, and strengthening community. This Day of Service reflects Dr. King’s legacy of collective action, economic justice, and love in action.

We’re grateful to partner with The Hill School and our FORCE family to make impact that goes beyond a single day. 💛

Today, in honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Hobart's Run is partnering with The Hill School to provide service and service- learning engagement involving all 530 students and all faculty members. We'll be lending a hand with organizations including The Ricketts Center , Pottstown Regional Public Library, Bethel Community Church of Pottstown , the YWCA Tri-County Area and Pottstown YMCA, Be Rezilient, Mission First Pottstown , Edgewood Historic Cemetery , Keystone Villa at Douglassville, Liberty Thrift Pottstown, Manatawny Manor, Trellis For Tomorrow , Rock Hollow, Pottstown Children's Discovery Center , health care workers at Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health, TriCounty Active Adult Center, Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) , Carousel at Pottstown , and Pottstown Beacon of Hope .
