Recently we lost a giant in the faith. Her name is Lucy Mutio and she lived in Kenya

Lucy was the right arm and chief support person to MM missionary, Nancy Spencer.

Her tireless commitment to discipling others and aiding Nancy is a tribute to her legacy.

Here are a few facts from two different polls that are alarming.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A record-low 20% of Americans now say the Bible is the literal word of God, down from 24% the last time the question was asked in 2017, and half of what it was at its high points in 1980 and 1984. Meanwhile, a new high of 29% say the Bible is a collection of "fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man." This marks the first time significantly more Americans have viewed the Bible as not divinely inspired than as the literal word of God. The largest percentage, 49%, choose the middle alternative, roughly in line with where it has been in previous years.

Another poll reports that it is estimated that nearly 70 to 75% of members of evangelical churches are not born again due to easy believeism and no heart repentance.

The need for discipleship is at an all time high.

Multiplication Ministries is all about disciple making, spiritual reproduction and healthy reproductive churches.

I had the joy of meeting for breakfast with Pastor Bob Baker and his lovely wife Cathy. Bob is the missions and discipleship pastor at Anchorage Baptist Temple in Anchorage Alaska.

I've been training and mentoring Bob for several months in MM principles via Skype and was honored that he was able to make the trip to Idaho to visit me personally.

I do these trainings with a number of pastors over cyber space but Bob and Cathy have taken things seriously and to a new level.

Each of them have established One to One discipleship teams of more than a dozen men and a dozen women in a few short months that are multiplying all the time.

God bless you Bakers, I'm proud you both. You're a blessing to me.
