If things have been a little quiet, it’s because I’m working on big things.

There’s been something I keep coming back to; the couples who hire me but so much thought and care into their day, the intentionality truly is awe inspiring.

I approach a day like a painter or an author to a visual novel. I’m not just taking a picture, I’m world building, but not in the sense that I’m replacing your wedding planner (because they are some of my favorite people) but that I’m taking in everything you’ve gathered & selected, seeing your love, hearing your story, wrapped in the atmosphere of the place we are in, and capturing it all visually for it to be revisited and felt all over again.

First engagement session of 2026, and I can’t wait for their wedding in May!

This bride to be is not a fan of getting her photo taken. And I totally get it. I hate when other people take my photo, because most of the time what I get back doesn’t match who I see in the mirror.

The truth is, a good photographer isn’t just the sum of their skills with their a camera or masterful edits. You have to truly see your subject, read the room, match energy, and know how to make them at ease, laugh, and have fun. And this helps heal my inner child who never had good school pictures 🥲 One session at a time.
